"The Transporter" (transporter)

...that whenever something critical breaks on my car the weather is absolutely fucking miserable? My clutch slave cylinder gave up the ghost late today and tomorrow is going to be cold, rainy, and windy. I can't wait for better weather because I have all my exams on Tuesday starting at 9 am and I have to work on Wednesday.
A Spec MX-5 on the Corkscrew for your time.

I think that's the left after the Corkscrew.
*Leaves because that was irrelevant*

All I know is that it's the part of Laguna Seca where I'm rapidly turning the wheel left and right and hoping that I'm turning it the right way.

Woah hold on this is a Miata not a 787? Almost got me

Is your car a Miata? While Miatas are generally very reliable, they have famously flimsy clutch hydraulics. On the three Miatas I've owned since 2000 I have replaced clutch cylinders four or five times. And if you're going to replace a Miata's clutch slave cylinder, I am writing to warn you that you will almost certainly be replacing the master cylinder within a couple months, so save yourself some effort and do both of them at the same time.

That's one of the reasons why I paid to have my clutch replaced. I needed my car fixed but of course it was raining like a motherfucker for the whole week.

I'm not quite sure I have the core body temperature to do both. Also, why the hell did they go hydraulic for the clutch? I could see needing the extra mechanical advantage on a larger car or truck, but this is a Miata we're talking about here. It's a lot of unnecessary mechanical complexity.

I wish I had the money to pay somebody else to do it.

After I paid the bill I wish I hadn't.
